I am a first year PhD student with the
SENSE Earth Observation CDT. My project, titled: 'Faster, greener and more competitive? How will vegetation alter in a changing Antarctic?' is partnered with the British Antarctic Survey and funded by NERC and the UK Space Agency. The aim is to produce classification maps of Antarctic vegetation using satellite remote sensing and machine learning methods.
My background is in Environmental Science and I completed an Integrated Master's at the University of Leeds. My Master's dissertation looked at modelling the mid-Pliocene Warm Period to evaluate its analogous nature in regards to informing future Arctic vegetation change.
